The fund raising programs has been initiated by the Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and Joe Waltman , Executive Director. This project aims to help the people to overcome the financial problems.
The project initiators says "The best way to help people out of poverty is to give them money—including cryptocurrency. This is a new global endeavor to distribute bitcoin and other digital currency directly to people who are in need.
How it works?
First the person asking for the fund place a post appealing for the fund and once the post is approved by the project the post is visible to all the donors. Once the donors shows keen interest on you, he/she will send you the fund in cryptocurrency like bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, zcash, ripple etc. This will be continue till 6 weeks and you will be paid 10$-100$ every week.
What You Need To Do?
First of all create account in givecrypto and verify your account with personal details describing about yourself. After that write a post appealing for the fund explaining why you need it, what will you do with that fund along with relatable photos or images.
What You Should not do in Givecrypto.org?
Everyone while posting the fund campaign should be aware fo THE CONTENT POLICY of Givecrypto.
Harassment, bullying and threats of violence against others
Don’t do anything that violates or affects a user’s physical safety through violence. Don’t attack, insult, bully, harass, intimidate, abuse, troll, cyberstalk or threaten others in public or private forums.
Sharing the private information of other members of this community, or doxing
Do not reveal, share or in any way, shape or form publish the private information of any member of this community. ‘Doxing’ or ‘doxxing’ is the sharing of a person’s private or public information for the purpose of intimidation or harassment. Public shaming and exposing community members to potential physical harm does not align with the GiveCrypto mission of financially empowering its members.
Illegal Activities
You may not use GiveCrypto to fund, facilitate, solicit or support illegal activities. Illegal activities include the collection and/or distribution of currency for activities that include:
- Posting images of minors without the consent of their legal guardians
- Money laundering
- The distribution of illegal weapons, ammunition or explosives
- Drug manufacturing or distribution, including alcohol and tobacco, or any controlled substances
- Paid services involving physical sexual contact
- Publishing or promoting intimate or sexually-explicit media of a person without their consent
- Stolen goods
- Falsified official documents or currency
- Any other activities that would involve the police, FBI, CIA, Interpol or any other organization charged with enforcing laws.
Intimate or sexually-explicit media or content
You may not use the GiveCrypto app or website to post or threaten to post images, videos, animations, illustrations, or written content that contains nudity, intimate parts of a person's body or sexual acts. This includes 'faked' and 'lookalike' photographs, drawings and pornography.
Promotions and/or spam
Examples of promotions and spam include:
- Repeatedly posting multiple requests and/or posting the same comment on multiple pages
- Sending multiple private messages to a person who is not expecting them
- Repeatedly posting content and comments unrelated to the GiveCrypto mission
- Posting links to third-party content or content that includes phishing, malware or deceptive content
- Promoting personal content, including links to personal products and services.
- Asking for upvotes, comments or submissions
- Posting requests to fund political campaigns or to run for political office
Hate speech
You may not post anything on the site that promotes discrimination, hate or violence based on identity, gender or vulnerability. Hate speech does not align with the GiveCrypto goal of treating everyone with dignity.This includes attacks on people based on their gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, race, color, national origin, immigraton status, gender, age, pregnancy, disability, poverty shaming or serious medical conditions.
Impersonating others
Don’t impersonate or pretend to be another person. Don’t speak on behalf of an organization you do not represent. Do not create multiple accounts on the app, and do not use a disposable email address.
